The Timeball is one
of only 5 in the world, and got smacked pretty hard in the Feb
22nd earthquake. They were in the process of dismantling it so
that it could be re-constructed, when the June 13th earthquake
demolished it.
Luckily they had digitally
mapped it, so we hope they can re-assemble the jigsaw, and
repair the broken bits to rebuild it.
